MARTINA GUASCO

Martina Guasco is an Italian freelance architect with international experience, having worked extensively across Europe, particularly in Italy and Germany.
Her expertise lies in the adaptive reuse and transformation of large-scale projects, including high-rise buildings, sports facilities, and cultural and residential structures.
As an architect, she faces various building and urban systems, with a diversified command of legal frameworks, particularly in the Italian and German (HOAI) contexts.
In addition to her professional practice, she is pursuing a PhD in Architectural Theory at the University of Genoa (UNIGE) - Department of Architecture and Design , Italy, in collaboration with the Schmidt Hammer Lassen (SHL) Department of Innovation in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Her research focuses on the economic influence shaping architectural composition and the future of adaptive reuse in existing building stocks.
