Kubrickian Fascination: The Nomadic Object
"Like the black monolith in Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, Torre David is an enigmatic object, a silent yet powerful presence. It is an architecture that does more than shelter  it provokes, challenges, and inspires.
What if, like the monolith, Torre David could travel?  Imagine this structure, with its isotropic skeleton and programmatic neutrality, uprooted and relocated anywhere. It becomes a nomadic architecture, a modern ark ready to colonize any landscape, from the Gobi Desert to the depths of the Amazon, from the heart of Frankfurt to the shores of an Indonesian island."
